Motorola has recently announced a new variant of the Moto E5 Play, which will be differentiated mainly by the presence of Android Go instead of the standard version of Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed on the base model.
According to company reports, the two variants do not differ only in software: the Android Go edition of Moto E5 Play is equipped with a 5.84 inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (18:9), 1 GB of RAM and 2100 mAh of battery power, while the standard version of Moto E5 Play has a 5.2 mm HD screen, 2 GB of RAM and a 2800 mAh battery.

All other specifications remain the same, confirming the Snapdragon 425 SoC, the 16Gb internal memory (expandable), the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone, the 8MP rear camera with LED flash and the 5MP front camera also with LED flash.
The Android Go edition of Motorola Moto E5 Play will be on sale in Latin America and Europe from today with prices starting at 109 euros.
