Nokia seems to be delivering exactly what it promised in terms of operating system updates for its new smartphones. And one proof of this is that the Nokia 3 will not receive the Android 7.1.2 Nougat upgrade, but will go straight to Android 8.0 Oreo. A whole statement of intent to which many brands in the market would have to adhere.
When a brand doesn’t update a smartphone, it’s usually because it’s out of date, so the news that the Finnish company won’t update Android 7.1.2 Nougat on Nokia 3, so go straight to Android 8.0 Oreo is a novelty we don’t remember if any company has ever done it. And if all this were not enough, they have promised that they will do so before the end of December.
Nokia 3 will receive 2018 with Android 8.0 Oreo
Another aspect that may be surprising to many users of other brands, is that the Finns take so much interest in having updated to the latest a smartphone of the lowest range as is the Nokia 3, as normally these smartphones are often forgotten almost since they come on the market and have achieved enough sales to cover the file.
And all this is not a rumor thrown into the wind, as the director of HMD Global’s Product Department has announced on his Twitter account. Good news not only for Nokia 3 users, but also for all those of the Finnish brand who will soon be enjoying Android 8.0 Oreo and many other updates that may come in the near future.
